About this ebook

Meg was glad to return to Camp Firefly Falls for another summer as head chef when a fire put her restaurant temporarily out of business and her ex left her for a previous love. She needed the magic of camp life to soothe her soul, and reconnecting with Finn, her college crush, was a pleasant surprise. But the deeper Meg delved into a relationship with him, the more her old insecurities resurfaced, and she became paralyzed with fear.

Finn may have appeared to be larger than life in college, but the truth was he didn’t think he was good enough for smart, serious Meg, and he never asked her out. When he found her again ten years later, he wasn’t going to let a second chance slip away. But as they grew closer, Meg’s wall grew higher, and he learned there was more to their past than he knew. Could he break through her barrier and convince Meg to let him into her heart?

Meg and Finn knew each other in college both having a crush on each other but never pursuing it. Insecurities keep feelings tucked away hindering what could be. Ten years later they both meet again at Camp Firefly Falls. Meg, a curvy beauty is now Head Chef at the camp and Finn is still as hot as he was in college and a prominent real estate agent. Both have been hurt by false love and now have a chance at true love. Finn has a plan to make Meg his, but her demon insecurities pop up leaving her in a whirlwind of misery. A heart-melting story with emotional ups and downs, fun times, witty dialogue, picturesque scene descriptions and hot blazing romance with much devotion. The romance between Finn and Meg certainly had a rocky start but they truly are perfect together. The author does a fabulous job with both characters and shows that letting go of insecurities and communication is imperative to have a loving relationship. If you treasure romance this is a great book for your library. I found this to be a most entertaining read, loved it and {I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.} Without reservations, I recommend this book.

How often do you have a second chance with your college secret love? Meg couldn't believe it was him calling to arrange menus for his company retreat to Camp Firefly Falls. Finn, the popular guy. The guy she crushed on from afar. Meg wasn't thinking of starting anything with him. Her last relationship raised her insecurities another notch. Finn made undisguised efforts to start something with her. Could she take a chance? They are good together. He's different than the man she thought he was before. Oh, he was still tall and gorgeous. Yet, he is romantic, tender, and very successful. Can those old fears hold her back? Their romance is fun, friends are loyal, the characters grow, and there is steam. What more do you want in a romance? You'll get that all and more. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.
