I enjoyed this installment! The writing flowed better than some of the previous books, the story progressed, and I loved that the girls are working well together! I'm glad any catty-ness was missing. Maggie has been asked to help Lyndsey with her feeding because Lyndsey can't feed without ripping out the throat. There's a problem though, Maggie was compelled by a powerful, shady guy, so that's the only reason she's a pro at feeding. This causes problems, and the powerful, shady guy causes problems. I'm liking where the story is going, and looking forward to the next installment.

Become engaged in this suspenseful page turning paranormal romance! Beautiful O'Kelly Island is the site of this entangled episode. Maggie is here to help Lyndsey with her problems. Trouble is Maggie and her "mentor," will cause the chaos! Novella. Voluntarily read ARC for an honest review.

Season one comes to an end. We learned that Lyndsy is in serious trouble. She needs some manners when eating. As a new Vampire herself, Maggie is called in to help her out. The question is can she? Her training was, to say the least unconventional. Maggie has her own problems. She is no longer posing as Kittie. Her feelings for Alexander are confusing and she knows who is causing all of the problems but can't tell. Lots going on. Lots of questions answered. A good end--for now. Since this is the end of "season one" I'm hoping for more to come. Don't miss this series. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.
