About this ebook

With Robert’s help, Maggie tames her bloodlust easily, but his gift comes with a price. Maggie is forced to keep his involvement in her training a secret. Unfortunately, Lyndsey has a harder time learning to feed responsibly and discovers she has a flaw that would be fatal to anyone but royalty. When King Daniel hears about Maggie’s instant success, he employs her to train Lyndsey.

Alexander confirms Maggie is his soul mate, but her feelings have faded and she’s not so sure. Maggie puts her love life on hold as she is forced to decide between revealing a secret that would endanger the Hart brothers or risking her own existence when she fails.

Lindsay thought she had it all controlled as princess, but soon learns that she can't control her bloodlust, as a matter of fact she has one of the most horrendous traits a vampire can have one that has never had rehabilitation...The only cure for this has always been the final death. The Vampire King is beside himself and is desperate to find a way to save his daughter from this fate. In the meantime, Maggie has found a cure for her bloodlust, but at a cost that could be the end of the Hart brothers if not Lindsay. She must tread lightly even though she is beside herself for not being able to share her secret, know matter how badly she wants to. What could be Robert's reason for what he has done to Maggie, is it for selfish reasons of the heart, or is it more nefarious?

Maggie's sojourn into her vampire is progressing. She hasn't had an easy go, having to stay away from her mother or risk losing control and feeding on her. Alexander has stayed away to make sure her mother is cared for so they say. She fears he no longer wants her. Now, the hardest lesson of all--feed on humans without going too far. While princess Lyndsay has excelled in all of her training how will her final lesson end? Will she pass the most difficult test? Maggie has struggled in her other lessons, how will she handle this? The outcome is unexpected. Why? Is someone interfering? When Alexander returns how will they feel now that she is no longer human? These answers and more will keep you turning the pages and anxious for part nine. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

This series keeps getting better with each book as you are lured into the Vampire world. Inside; humor, dangerous secrets are hidden, suspense, bloodlust control, action, jealousy, and emotional moments. Maggie now a vampire is still coming to terms with it and yearns to see her human mom. Sneaking out of the Hart mansion has not been a problem for Maggie; making easier for Robert to find her. Lindsay has her own issues to contend with when she learns she is more powerful than she thought. Alexander knows that Maggie is his true mate, but her emotions wreak havoc with her mind keeping her feelings for him at bay. Sebastian wants Maggie to feel comfortable with her Vampire status and tries to build her confidence. A THRILLING read that had me hooked to keep reading until the end. The characters come alive with powerful vivid scene descriptions and engaging dialogue. This series fascinates me as I love vampire reads and I am so excited to learn what awaits the characters in the next book. If you love Vampires this is a fantastic read/series for your library. I enjoyed this story so much (I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy.) Without reservations, I recommend this read/series.
