Maggie thought she saved her friend's life. Yet what she did is plunge Lindsey into the dark life she has unknowingly entered. Her adjustment surprises Alexander as her guide. While Maggie continues as Kittie and her book tour, she also ventures out into the world around her. Is she safe? When men one man in particular shows interest, she backs away, not only because of loyalty to Alexander but something is off. Is she in danger? Can she be protected and still live some of the freedom her illness has kept from her?How is Lindsey adjusting? What do they learn and how will that affect them all especially Maggie? The intrigue just gets better and better. Bring on part five. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

I'm starting to like this story more and more, it is getting more and more mysterious and intriguing. What is the mystery surrounding Sebastian and Alexander and why is Alexander so adamant about staying away from Maggie. Will Maggie's heart win out over her? What does Sebastian really want with Maggie, he has made no move to woo her. Who is Robert and what part does he play in all the intrigue? Lindsey is handling all the vampire turning business very well indeed and it's because she is much more than just a vampire and she is about to discover what, but is it a good, or bad thing?
